We build your family's Kinidhi for you
Your parents and grandparents are in India and you are not. Their stories, the old photos and the names of everyone in the family are still with them. We sit with your elders over a video call, record their stories in their own language, and build your family's tree in Kinidhi, ready to share with everyone.
What we do
- Talk to your elders. Video calls over WhatsApp, in Telugu, Hindi or English, at a time that suits them.
- Build the tree. Every person they remember, with how each one is related and the word you call them.
- Record their voices. Their stories are saved as voice memories on the right people in the tree.
- Save the old photos. We guide someone at home to scan or photograph them, then label and add them.
- Hand it over. We invite you and your relatives, so the whole family can see it and add to it.

Founding-family price for the first 10 families. In return, we ask for a few words about how it went, and your permission to show a blurred sample of your tree.

One call of about 45 minutes with an elder. We build the tree from it and invite up to 20 relatives.

Everything in Starter, plus two or three recorded story sessions, up to 50 old photos labelled and added, and a family timeline with the key dates.
We deliver within 3 to 4 weeks of the first call. The finished tree is yours: the Kinidhi app is free, so your family keeps it and adds to it with no further charges. Payment is taken after a free 15-minute call where we agree what you need. A relative in India can pay in rupees by UPI if that is easier.

Do I need this to use Kinidhi?
No. Every feature of the app is free and you can build the tree yourself. This service is for families who would rather we do it.
Who sees the recordings and photos?
Only your family. Everything goes into your family's private Kinidhi, under our privacy policy. We delete our working copies once we hand it over.
What if it's not right?
We fix it. You can also cancel. See our cancellation and refund policy.
